Annual Biostasis Conference

About The Event

The Biostasis conference series is hosted by the European Biostasis Foundation. After a successful Biostasis2020 and Biostasis2021, we are excited to bring the biostasis community together once again.

Biostasis2022 will include workshops, presentations from experts, and an open house of the new facility for Biostasis research and the long-term storage of patients.

Online and in-person

The Venue

Biostasis2022 will take place in Rafz, Switzerland at the European Biostasis Foundation's new facility for biostasis research and the long-term storage of cryopreserved patients.

On-site attendance will be limited, but everyone will have the opportunity to attend online. The open house day on October 23 will give everyone (including those without an on-site ticket) the opportunity to visit the facility in person.

Workshop Day

October 21
The first day of Biostasis2022 will consist mostly of workshops and in-depth discussions. This will give experts in the field the chance to connect, discuss, and share the most important knowledge and techniques in an intimate setting (not live streamed).

Conference Day

October 22
The second day of Biostasis2022 will consist of talks from the most renowned speakers in the field. The broader biostasis community is invited to join the conference day via livestream (whole day streamed live).

Open House

October 23
The final day of Biostasis2022 will consist an open house of the European Biostasis Foundations facility. Everyone is welcome to join in person, even if they did not purchase an on-site ticket (not live streamed).
